This 10-week fellowship blends hands-on campaign work with intentional professional development, offering real-world experience in civic engagement and grassroots organizing.

Team Manager
Paid Role - 35 hours/week

As a Team Manager, you'll coach fellow organizers, shape campaign strategy, and oversee day-to-day operations for your assigned team. This role offers hands-on experience in leadership, strategic planning, and campaign management, perfect for those ready to step into a leadership position.

Team Fellow
Volunteer Role - 10 hours/week
Get hands-on experience at the heart of a grassroots campaign.
As a Team Fellow, you'll contribute to voter outreach, organizing efforts, events, digital engagement, and internal operations. Fellows participate in comprehensive training and play a direct role in connecting the campaign with voters and the broader community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Create and maintain scripts
Lead canvassing and phonebank events
Manage VoteBuilder and data accuracy
Coordinate volunteers and logistics

Manage fellowship Google Calendar

Lead speaker series and professional development sessions
Recruit speakers and prepare questions

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
Current high school student, college student, graduate student, or early-career professional
Strong interest in civic engagement, organizing, or campaign work
Reliable, organized, and committed to meeting attendance requirements
Clear communicator who works well in a team environment
Collaborative approach and openness to feedback
Eager to learn and committed to personal growth
Preferred (But Not Required):
Familiarity with Florida politics or local community issues
Previous volunteer experience or involvement in student organizations
Comfort with digital tools (social media platforms, spreadsheets, databases)
Bilingual skills (Spanish/English/Haitian Creole)

Receive hands-on coaching from experienced campaign staff and political professionals

Your Role as Team Manager
You’ll support and oversee fellows by creating a positive, accountable environment where everyone can do their best work. You'll lead with empathy to build a team culture centered on collaboration, inclusion, and mutual support that is outcomes-driven.
In practice, this means you'll:
Balance multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced campaign environment
Participate in voter outreach through phone banking, text banking, and canvassing
Collaborate with fellow Team Managers to execute and advance the campaign's overall strategy
Encourage idea-sharing and problem-solving to keep your team motivated and aligned
Maintain accurate records of team participation, activities, and outcomes

Your Role as a Fellow
You’ll contribute directly to campaign operations in a collaborative, supportive environment that is outcomes-driven. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Participating in voter outreach through canvassing, phone banking, and text banking
Supporting campaign events, community forums, and organizing activities
Collaborating with your team to execute campaign strategy and meet outreach goals
Maintaining accurate records of voter contacts and participation
Contributing ideas and feedback to improve campaign operations
